“In the first week after the information about the price reduction, demand for the “3” model increased the most. And this applies to both new and used cars. In the period from the 11th to On March 20, 2024, demand for the new “Muscovites 3” increased by more than 200% compared to the previous decade.
There is also a change in demand for the other two models, the “6” and the electric “3e” (the increase was 24% and 100%, respectively). However, for the last two we are talking about small quantities in pieces compared to model 3: in the total volume of demand, the share of these models is significantly lower than that of the best-selling Moskvich 3.
As for used Muscovites, the model “3” also leads here. Period-on-period demand growth was 123%.
In total, demand for Moskvich cars in the second ten days of March compared to the first ten days of the same month increased by 7.8%,” says Ivanov.
In March, the simplest crossover “Moskvich 3” can be purchased for 1,590,000 rubles (minus 630-712 thousand rubles). And the price of the Moskvich 6 liftback decreased by 490 thousand rubles, to 2,136,000 rubles. At the same time, the Moskvich 3e electric car still costs 3,950,000 rubles.
Previously, RG reported that a new crossover was noticed at the Moskvich plant, which will be launched in 2024.
