Ayesa completes the purchase of Ibermática and expects to achieve 640 million in sales

Date: March 29, 2024 Time: 14:49:58

The Sevillian multinational Ayesa, a global provider of technology and engineering services, has completed the acquisition of Ibermática, which had been announced on August 24, after obtaining approval from the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) and of the Government of Spain.

As the company explains, Ibermática will immediately integrate into Ayesa in order to create a leading technology firm in digital services, with the capacity to accompany large clients in their main transformation projects. The group plans to exceed 640 million euros in revenue by the end of 2022, thus becoming one of the top five players in its segment in the Spanish IT market, with more than 11,000 workers.

This acquisition represents the third corporate operation carried out by Ayesa in 2022, after the majority investment by A&M Capital Europe in January. Thus, it joins the acquisitions of the Irish engineering company ByrneLooby and the Madrid technology company M2C, specialized in data management. After this process, Ayesa becomes a group with technological capabilities in artificial intelligence, data analytics, process automation, application development and cloud solutions.

The company is a global provider of technological and engineering services, with more than 11,000 employees and a direct presence in 23 countries in Europe, America, Africa and Asia. Specifically, it develops and implements digital solutions for companies and public administrations and applies the latest technologies to the design and supervision of infrastructures.
