According to regional government sources, this new tax reduction defended by the Madrid government consists of “reducing this municipal tax that is levied on the revaluation of urban land such as homes and premises, and which all citizens face when a transmission of property, whether by purchase, gift or inheritance”.
Currently, the capital gains tax is applied if the value of the real estate asset has increased between the time of purchase and the time of transfer. It is calculated using coefficients determined by the State each year. For their part, the town halls are the ones that secure the maximum values and on which they can secure bonuses.
This new tax reduction advocated by the regional government in collaboration with the town hall will mean “significant savings for individuals, the self-employed and companies, since they will see a reduction in the payment of taxes on the transfer of real estate.”
What will Ayuso’s full investiture be like?
The Madrid Assembly will host this Wednesday and Thursday the investiture plenary session that, in two sessions, baffled Isabel Díaz Ayuso for the third time as president of the Community of Madrid, although this time with an absolute majority.
The plenary will start at 12 noon this Wednesday with the presentation of the political program, without time limitation, by the Madrid leader. At the meeting, Ayuso will be supported by, among other leaders, the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida.
