The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has revealed the date for the 2024 Film Awards: the ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, February 18. Write about it Term.
The event will take place three weeks before the Oscars, which is scheduled for March 10. BAFTA will also take place for the second consecutive year during the Berlin Film Festival (its dates are February 15-25).
In addition, the Film Academy shared other key dates:
— December 8, 2023 — start of the first round of voting;
— January 5, 2024 — publication of long lists and start of the second round of voting;
— January 18 — Announcement of the final nominees for the BAFTA award.
The Academy recalled that last year’s ceremony gathered a record number of visits: 3.8 million people across the country. This is the highest rate since 2019.
