Bankinter beats forecasts with more income and fewer provisions

Bankinter has obtained a net profit of 560 million euros for the year as a whole, which represents an improvement of 28% compared to the year of 2021. This figure is above the 549 million euros calculated by the consensus of analysts collected by ‘Bloomberg’. The result presented by Bankinter is explained by the fact that the bank has increased revenue, the interest margin has grown by 21% to 1,537 million euros. At the same time, provisions for doubtful loans have fallen by 18% to 381 million euros.
