The programs include Russian classics: works by Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rachmaninov, as well as famous Russian folk songs “Steppe and steppe all around…”, “Hey, let’s shout”, “Along Piterskaya”, “Black Eyes” and others.
The entrance to the concerts is free, the organizers stressed. But Yaroslavl spectators must purchase a ticket at the ticket office of the Millennium cultural and entertainment center.

In 2012, the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra was established under the direction of Yuri Bashmet. The orchestra was formed on the basis of a unique all-Russian competition. For the first time in the history of our country, such an orchestra was created, which brings together the best young musicians of different ages from different cities of Russia.
During the 12 years of its existence, the group has performed many times in the world’s major concert halls (Vienna, Berlin, Amsterdam, Milan, Geneva, Beijing, Seoul, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Dubai).
Since its foundation, the orchestra has performed in 19 regions of Russia. The team took part in the closing ceremony of the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014 and in the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup in Russia in 2018.
