A spectator named Elena told the channel that she attended the concert with her daughter and an acquaintance. They were on the mezzanine when they heard gunshots.
According to her, at first the spectators thought it was fireworks, but then they started running away. Many ran towards the stage, where there was an emergency exit. However, one of the terrorists was standing there, shooting at everyone who ran in that direction.
At that moment, one of the spectators pounced on the terrorist, took away his machine gun, knocked him down and began hitting him with the butt of his weapon. Thanks to the man, several dozen people were able to run out of the hallway.
Elena added that she does not know if the man was alive or not.
According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, 60 people were victims of the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall. This number could still increase.
