After specifying that the assembly of MTZ tractor components is already carried out in the Russian region, he said that at the meeting an agreement on the assembly of combine harvesters, lifting equipment and MAZ vehicles will be signed. In addition, the region has already developed a network of branded stores for food products and light industrial goods.
At the end of last year, the minister said, a roadmap for cooperation between partners for the next two years was drawn up and signed. An important block of this document was devoted to the creation and development of assembly plants for MTZ tractors, MAZ buses, Gomselmash combine harvesters and Mogilevliftmash elevators. Supplies of municipal, passenger and construction equipment, as well as livestock products, are also supplied. The roadmap also includes issues related to water treatment and stock trading.
Belarus, according to Bogdanov, is ready to participate in the construction of social facilities – kindergartens and schools, and has successful experience in this direction in several regions of the Union State.
Describing the content of the current working group meeting, the Minister explained that this time his colleagues have chosen three main topics: industrial cooperation, interaction in the agro-industrial complex and construction. He thanked Russian friends and partners for their interest in deepening cooperation and further improving cooperation with the Republic of Belarus.
Referring to statistical data, Bogdanov added that in just seven months the mutual turnover of the partners increased by a quarter – 24.8 percent. “Rola and sunflower seeds, citrus fruits, sunflower oil, canned vegetables, rice and other products are in great demand in Belarus,” the Minister said during the meeting.
According to him, interregional cooperation is also actively developing. Another proof of this was the signing of the Minsk and Sochi twinning agreement. “I am sure that interaction at the level of cities and districts can contribute significantly and positively to further growth of trade,” concluded Bogdanov, stating that the visit of the delegation of the Krasnodar Territory to Belarus will contribute to “adopting new heights in commercial and economic interaction, as well as contributing to the successful implementation of new joint projects.”
