During his speech at the meeting, the representative of Belarus emphasized that Minsk is doing everything possible to hold the upcoming sports competitions at a high organizational level. “We hope that sports teams will participate in the Games not only from the CIS countries, but also from 14 other countries,” the deputy prime minister specified.
In the current information environment, according to him, “in the context of a difficult geopolitical situation, the holding of this event should become a shining positive example of cooperation between our countries.” He called on all Commonwealth partners to actively participate in the preparations for this large-scale event.
In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister appealed to Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the CIS Economic Council, with a request to provide possible assistance in organizing the upcoming Commonwealth Games in the Republic of Belarus.
