The Bell & Ross watch company has announced a partnership with the Tara Ocean Foundation, whose activities are aimed at studying the oceans in the context of climate change and its consequences for marine ecosystems and biodiversity. Tara Ocean has already made 11 expeditions and is currently conducting a series of investigations in the Arctic aboard a drifting ship.
Throughout its history, Bell & Ross has often been inspired by the oceans and their mysteries. The first step towards his research was the Hydromax watch, launched in 1997, capable of withstanding the pressure of the water at the bottom of the Mariana Trench (11,100 meters).
10 years later, another attempt was made: to facilitate the researchers’ work, Bell & Ross watchmakers developed the BR 02 wrist tool with a water resistance of up to 1000 meters. In 2017, the BR 03-92 DIVER watch was launched, which was tested in icy waters.
