Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov has inspected the training of Aerospace Forces specialists at the N. E. Zhukovsky and Yu.A.
“The Director of the Academy, Colonel General Gennady Zibrov, informed the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation about the training system for flight and engineering personnel, drones, electronic warfare and other specialties, as well as about improving the educational and material base and supplying the latest training complexes,” Belousov commented on the trip to the Russian Defense Ministry.
The military department also showed images of the minister observing the training of cadets in the joint aviation technical and operational unit (TEU), designed to repair and maintain various types of aircraft.
It is important to note that for practical training, the Academy has real Su-35 and Su-34 aircraft, Ka-52 and Mi-28n helicopters, which allows to fully master modern aircraft right at the university.
“Cadets of the Academy of Flight Specialties, as well as drone specialists, perform practical flights during their training and are guaranteed the level of flight time required for a graduate,” Colonel General Gennady Zibrov also informed the minister.
