“It seems to me that this is an obvious attempt to copy Huawei’s experience with its alternative to Android and GMS. As a Huawei smartphone user, I wouldn’t say that I am delighted with its mobile ecosystem, but nevertheless, somehow it works” Bevza points out.
At the same time, the question remains whether the leaders of the Russian IT market will be able to solve this problem, “without such a mobile experience, production base and market as Huawei,” doubts the expert.
But there are obvious advantages to the emergence of such a project, Bevza believes. “At least Russian mobile developers won’t be out of a job in this difficult time. You can definitely be happy for them,” she told RG.
