It’s been four years since Beyoncé last performed on a big stage as a headliner. On January 21, the singer gave a private concert at Atlantis The Royal Resort in Dubai. Variety writes about it.
The violinists were the first to take the stage wearing metallic gold headdresses and voluminous red skirts. Behind them appeared Beyoncé dancers and other musicians. They stood motionless with their arms folded in front of the Egyptian-style setting.
Then Beyoncé herself appeared under the explosions of fireworks, dressed in a yellow dress with feathers. The singer performed “Crazy in Love” with her daughter Blue Ivy, “Brown Skin Girl,” “Freedom,” “Spirit,” “Be Alive” and other songs. However, she did not sing a single song from her Grammy-nominated 2022 album Renaissance.
The concert was attended by her parents, her husband Jay-Z, and their children. The public was prohibited from filming the concert, but was allowed to turn on the cameras at the after party, where the Swedish electronic trio Swedish House Mafia played music. However, the video with Beyoncé still hit the Web.
Beyoncé’s Ivy Park and adidas have revealed a new collaboration. The campaign featured Offset and her son Cody. We talk about it in more detail here.
