The journalist asked the head of state if he was confident of a peaceful transfer of power in January 2025, when a new head of state is due to be sworn in by the United States.

“If Trump wins, then no, I’m not sure; that is, if Trump loses, then I’m not entirely sure,” RIA Novosti quotes Biden as saying.

Recall that the US presidential election will take place on November 5 this year. Donald Trump is nominated by the Republican Party for president. Biden was supposed to represent the Democratic Party, but decided to withdraw from the race and supported the nomination of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Earlier, Trump expressed the view that Harris’ victory in the US presidential election would lead to major wars in the Middle East, and perhaps even a third world war.
