According to the American leader, it is kyiv itself that decides how to end the conflict with Russia.
“We will not dictate to you what the end result will be,” he said.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky admitted that Ukraine is preparing for a military takeover of Crimea. The country is “morally ready” for this, he said, but did not mention the dates when the Armed Forces of Ukraine intend to launch an offensive.
According to Zelensky, technical training is underway, “offensive brigades of different categories and different natures are being formed,” people have been sent for training, “not only in Ukraine.”
Commenting on Zelensky’s statements, Biden said: “This (the return of Crimea – ed.) will be preceded by a transition period. Not all at once.”
