Givenchy has officially confirmed that South Korean boy band Big Bang member Taeyang will be the global ambassador for the French luxury brand. The singer became the first Korean artist to join the fashion house family.
“I am grateful to be able to start a new chapter in my life with Givenchy. It means a lot to me because Givenchy is a brand that has inspired me over the years,” said Taeyang.
According to Hypebae, Taeyang will be the guest of honor at the upcoming Givenchy show. The brand’s creative director, Matthew Williams, will show a new collection as part of Paris Men’s Fashion Week.
