In 2022, Germany imported 44.4 million tons of coal from Russia, 8 percent more than the previous year.
In second place is the United States (9.4 million tons, and more than 32 percent).
In the third – Australia (6.3 million tons).
Deliveries from South Africa (by 278 percent) and Colombia (by 210 percent) grew particularly strongly.
Let’s remember that Germany is trying to reduce dependence on Russian energy.
