The best-selling novel by American writer Colin Hoover “It Ends With Us” will be filmed. Starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Variety writes about it.
The film is currently in development at Sony Pictures. Baldoni will act not only as an actor, but also as a director and executive producer. Lively will also produce. The script was written by Christy Hall, best known for her work on the Netflix series I Don’t Like This.
Roman Hoover tells the story of a small-town girl named Lily who moves to Boston to start her own business. She meets Ryle, a neurosurgeon, and an immediate spark strikes between them, but her “utter distaste for relationships is alarming.”
Hoover is currently the best-selling writer in the United States. “It Ends With Us” has been on the New York Times Best Seller list for more than 90 weeks.
Previously, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s The Group Effort Initiative (GEI) launched the show in collaboration with Netflix. As part of the project, people from underrepresented groups of the population will be helped to get employment in the field of film and television.
