The new BLCV collection continues the already established route of traveling through fashion eras. After a spring/summer season inspired by the 80s and 90s, it’s time for the 2000s. The new release is inspired by the heyday of subcultures, joyful alternative rock and self-expression through all available means.
Mom-fit and “banana” silhouettes gave way to pencil jeans and trendy cargo, high waist – medium and clean wash – vintage. An important part of the collection is the aesthetic of custom and DIY, glorified by the lead singers of rock bands of the 2000s. The holes and abrasions of denim were borrowed from it.
Denim shirts, down jackets, denim bombers and plaid flannel shirts help recreate the spirit of the time. The main motif of the collection is the updated BLCV logo, stylized as the iconic AC/DC emblem. He decorated shirts and t-shirts that easily fit into pop-punk looks.
“We wanted to find a font that was close to our spirit and AC/DC’s corporate style was perfect. For me personally, the lightning bolt icon is one of my favorite symbols. It represents energy, charge and power,” says the brand’s founder, Ilya Bulychev.
Let us remember that previously BLCV and the leading online shopping platform Lamoda presented a limited edition denim capsule. Each style is made from 100% premium cotton and is available in two colors: sky blue and vintage blue.
