The nominees for the 43rd annual Golden Raspberry Award have been announced. The list traditionally includes movies and actors that have performed the worst over the past year. Winners will be announced before the Oscars on March 11.
“Rubia” with Ana de Armas in the main role became the leader in the number of nominations. The film was nominated in eight categories at once. It is followed by the comedy “Good Mourning” (7 nominations), and Robert Zemeckis’s “Pinocchio” closes out the top three (6 nominations).
The Worst Picture category includes Blonde, Pinocchio, Good Mourning, The Mermaid and the King’s Daughter, and Morbius. Worst Actress nominees are Kaya Scodelario, Diana Keaton, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ryan Kira Armstrong and Alicia Silverstone. And in the worst actor category: Tom Hanks, Sylvester Stallone, Jared Leto, Pete Davidson and Machine Gun Kelly.
In the nomination for Worst Remake, Plagiarism or Sequel, two parts of 365 Days are presented, Pinocchio, Inflamatory Eyes, Jurassic World: Dominance and Blonde. The full list of applicants can be found on the official Golden Raspberry website.
Remember that last year’s Worst Picture nomination included Netflix’s Diana the Musical, Infinity with Mark Wahlberg, Karen the thriller, Space Jam: The Next Generation comedy starring LeBron James and Joe Wright’s The Woman in the Window.
