Apple plans to introduce the first touchscreen MacBook Pro in 2025. This is reported by Bloomberg, citing sources.
At the same time, the corporation is not working on merging the iPadOS and macOS operating systems. Because of this, early touchscreen laptops are more likely to run on macOS.
The founder of the corporation, Steve Jobs, called these laptops “ergonomically terrible.” The company itself has believed for more than a decade that the iPad is the best solution for those who need a touch screen. Apple has so far been the only major laptop maker to ditch touchscreens.
However, it is precisely because of the high competition that Apple is forced to make a serious update to its laptops. Those already producing such products include Dell, HP, Microsoft, Lenovo, Samsung, and Acer.
