According to the agency, EU members have not yet received specific proposals for new sanctions against Russia. Bloomberg sources are convinced that some countries, including Poland and the Baltic states, will push for more stringent restrictive measures.
Also, according to the sources, the EU is working on new sanctions against Belarus for its role in supporting Russia during the special operation.
Recall that in the framework of the ninth package of sanctions, the European Union extended the ban on the export of goods and technologies for the aerospace industry to the Russian Federation, including components for drones.
Earlier on Monday, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó said sanctions against Russia are leading Europe to a dead end. According to the minister, the tenth package of sanctions against Russia would be “a big mistake”.
