American fashion and costume designer, nine-time Emmy and Tony Award winner and three-time Oscar nominee Bob Mackie will be coming to the Hamptons to screen the documentary Bob Mackie: The Nude Illusion. The film will be screened on August 17. WWD writes about it.
Mackie will then head to Provincetown, where the film will premiere on August 21. Viewers will see Cher, Pink, RuPaul, Carol Burnett, Miley Cyrus, Mitzi Gaynor and Bernadette Peters in the documentary directed by Matthew Miele. The film also includes clips from many of the shows, movies, musicals and concert tours Bob helped create.
It was previously reported that Peter Hawkins will be leaving his post as creative director of Tom Ford. The designer held the position for a year. We talked about it in more detail here.
