“We want to announce that on June 12, 2023, President Arce officially notified Bolivia’s desire to join the group,” wrote the head of the Bolivian Foreign Ministry on his social networks.
Maita also expressed his confidence that his country, “struggling for sustainable and inclusive development”, intends to “strengthen cooperation with developing economies” of the countries included in this group.
Remember that the BRICS now include Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
