French President Emmanuel Macron’s wife Brigitte Macron will play herself in the new series of “Emily in Paris.” It will be released today on the Netflix streaming service, The Guardian reported.
The show’s author, Darren Star, told the media that Macron has great acting talent. The idea for Brigitte’s appearance came after the producer met her at the Elysee Palace.
“She watched the show and really loves it. Brigitte took the mention of herself in the first season with great humor. Working with her was both an honor and a real joy,” Star said.
It was previously reported that Netflix would be developing a series based on The Picture of Dorian Gray. The project was called The Grays. We discuss it in more detail here.
