Britney Spears’ husband, Sam Asgari, filed for divorce 14 months after the wedding. The husband of the 41-year-old pop diva demands to review the marriage contract and assures that the year of family coexistence with the singer has become a real hell for him. In total, the physical trainer and the world star lived together for seven years. Now Sam claims that during this time he constantly feared for her life.
According to sources from the American portal TMZ, Britney attacked her husband on more than one occasion and tried to hit him. One day she gave him a black eye while she was sleeping in her marital bed. Fights broke out between the spouses from time to time, and the star’s security service had to separate them. Now Sam claims that the attack by Britney, who gouged out his eye while she was sleeping, left him in deep shock.
In early January this year, 29-year-old Asgari was photographed by paparazzi with bruises on her face and arms. However, it is possible that he could get injured while he is playing sports. Sam himself will be sure that Britney has a crazy temper and her mood can change several times a day. He was especially concerned about the numerous knives that Britney kept in her Los Angeles home to defend herself against her. The artist was simply obsessed with the fact that she could attack her, and she assured that with knives spread throughout the mansion she feels calmer. Sam was afraid that during the next fight he might use bladed weapons.
According to Asgari’s reps, he hoped the marriage would help Britney change. However, after 14 months of married life, she realized that Spears was terminally ill and could not help her. Also, Sam accused his wife of adultery. According to him, she had sexual relations with a man who worked in her mansion, with someone from her staff.
Before the wedding, the star’s lawyers forced Asgari to sign a prenuptial agreement, according to which he cannot claim ownership of the star. Britney’s lawyers decided to secure her fortune of $60 million from her and insisted on a very tough contract. Now, however, according to court documents, Asghari is asking Britney for financial support and payment for her lawyer’s services. Under US law, a lower-income spouse can claim alimony (even a man), and the court may well satisfy her claims.
Britney and Sam tied the knot on June 11, 2022. The 40-year-old bride and her 28-year-old fiancé tied the knot in a white marquee set up in the patio of the singer’s California villa. The wedding was attended by only 100 guests, only the closest friends. Britney invited her brother Brian to the wedding, but she did not invite her sister Jamie Lynn or her parents, with whom she is known to have a very strained relationship. The artist and her sons Sean and Jayden did not appear at the celebration.
Just a few days after the marriage, Sam and Britney changed their place of residence. They moved into a new $11 million home that the singer bought on the eve of her wedding.
Sam Asgari is a former dancer born in Iran. They met on the set of Britney’s music video seven years ago. The couple announced their engagement immediately after the artist got rid of her father’s guardianship through the courts. Britney’s parents controlled her personal life and her finances for 13 years. During the trial, the singer said that she wants to get married and have a baby. Last April, Britney announced on social media that she and Asghari were expecting a baby. A month later, the singer announced that she had had a miscarriage.
