The Bulgarian side hoped that after that the car of 1975 release could be operated for another 7 years. The amount of the aircraft repair contract was about 3,230,000 euros.
“The Ukrainian side continues to assert that the current conditions, generally speaking, are not the most suitable. The probability that the plane will be shot down is enormous. They don’t want to take that risk,” Stoyanov said. According to him, Ukraine expressed its desire to “simplify” its obligations to ensure the safety of the ship, but the Bulgarian Defense Ministry stood firm and insisted on protecting its financial interests.
The An-30 was created on the basis of the An-24 airliner and is used for aerial surveillance, aerial photography, and aerial reconnaissance.
