Elena Zheleznyakova, Pastry Chef at Coffeemania, has created a summer collection of five desserts. They are based on delicate mousses with sweet berries and citrus combined with nutty notes. For example, the Gerbera dessert consists of Japanese matcha green tea sponge cake, light coconut cream, citrus marmalade, and tropical mango-passion fruit coulis. One of the main berries of the season, the cherry, is the soloist of the Lady Smile dessert. Here, its sweetness is enhanced by sakura syrup and lemon-lime jam.
Lucky Group’s All Day restaurant in Moscow City and the Reboot sports chain have created a menu of healthy food for those who love sports and watch their diet. For ordering special positions, each guest will receive a certificate for free training in any of the studios. Chef Ilya Lepeskin’s menu includes avocado toast, a large green salad, and salmon with broccoli and romesco sauce. The dishes are prepared with quality agricultural products that are suitable for proper nutrition.
The Khudozhestvenny cinema will host the Russian premiere of Jeanne Dubarry, a historical biopic of the director and actress Maivenn. The film was first shown at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, where it was chosen as the opening film. The plot is based on the story of the relationship between the French King Louis XV and his lover Jeanne Dubarry. The heroine is a working-class young woman who manages to climb the social ladder. Starring Johnny Depp, Maiwenn, Pierre Richard and Noemi Lvovsky.
The conference room of the Garage Museum will host a presentation of the book by Olesya Avramenko and Galya Leonova “Her life in art: education, career and family of an artist of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.” Together with Katya Suverina, editor-in-chief of the book, the authors will discuss the history of women’s art in Russia, talk about the context in which the professional development of women artists took place. Likewise, the guests will learn how the origin, marital status, presence of children and life influenced the career and work of women in art. Admission is free with prior registration.
The chef of the Matryoshka brand, Vlad Piskunov, will present the Sadko set at the Momo restaurant in Yekaterinburg. Fish and shellfish take center stage, one of the most interesting dishes on the set is muksun with goat root, a rare vegetable that can be found in few places. Vlad serves it the asparagus way and offers it in three versions at once: as a side dish, as a sauce, and as chips. Other interesting dishes include a pearl of oysters and a stroganina of several layers of white fish, porcini mushrooms and lard, served in an ice bucket with seaweed.
For the first time, Inoekino premieres a director’s cut of the sci-fi film Donnie Darko, directed by Richard Kelly. The sessions will be held both in English with Russian subtitles and with off-screen translation. In Moscow, the screening will take place at the Oktyabr cinema as part of the Karo.Art project. After the session, there will be a discussion with the comedian Alexei Shamutilo and the philosopher Evgeny Tsurkan.

The ART4 Museum will inaugurate the personal project of Sasha Shardak “Third Reprint”. The exhibition will present a kind of reconstruction of the “imaginary” interior from the author’s wooden objects, patterns and forms that the artist uses in his practice. The project primarily explores the relationship between a person and an object and reveals today’s unusual connection to the thaw era, when functional objects such as a chair or dresses meant more and less than they should.
The fourth, summer, almost daytime party of the “Night” cooperative will take place in Soma’s courtyard. From six in the evening to four in the morning, the program includes: a musical journey from Moscow to St. Petersburg, dancing under the starry sky, cocktails, tarot fortune-telling and tattoos. And also a meter-long disco ball, nice vibes, tapas and cocktails from Soma, after which your head will not hurt.
In the White Room of the Peredelkino House of Creativity, within the framework of the Alpina Non-Fiction Publishing Festival, the presentation of the new novel by Pavel Pepperstein The Velvet Wagon will take place. The book describes the author’s childhood: real events from the lives of non-conformist artists and writers, seen through the eyes of a child, alongside fantastic episodes from the novel. The Hermitage Garden will host a new prose festival Unprincipled Readings 2023. On the stage – the stars of theater and cinema. Headliners include Pavel Derevyanko, Nikolai Drozdov, Ekaterina Klimova, Gosha Kutsenko, Maxim Matveev, Katerina Shpitsa and Alexander Tsypkin. The authors who sent their works for the festival will also participate. Over two days there will be performances, meetings with writers, afternoon readings for the whole family and two gala concerts in the evening. The program includes only current national prose, and a collection of short stories will be released after the results of the festival.
The Wine Bazaar chain of bars launches a series of collaborations with the best sommeliers in the country. As part of the project, each month an invited expert becomes the person in charge of the bars’ wine racks. The chef sommelier will complement the variety of wines with his selection, will conduct several open tastings for guests, each of which is dedicated to a specific theme. On July 20, a master class with Evgeny Usachev on the topic of current industry trends and “correct wine projects around the world” is scheduled.
