Camargo is back at Expovacaciones with its own booth this weekend at the Bilbao Exhibition Center in Barakaldo (Biscay) to promote its tourism offer.
Camargo’s proposal focuses on the cultural and archaeological heritage found in the municipality, with Cueva del Pendo declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Mis de San Juan Roman Baths Archaeological Site.
Emphasis is also being placed on promoting the coastal area of the municipality, where the marina stands out, one of the main docking areas with such characteristics in all of northern Spain.
Along with this, other elements are displayed: the Ethnographic Museum, the palace of the Marquis of Villapuente, the ruins of the castle of Collado, the church and necropolis of San Pedro or the Via de Agripa and Camino de Santiago Histórico routes that cross the municipality.
Tourist advisor Eugenio Gómez explained that “many people” come to the Camargo stand and are interested in the sights of the municipality, which, among other things, has many archaeological sites and natural landscapes.
Gómez emphasized the importance of the city council taking part again in this fair, which is held only a hundred kilometers from the municipality, both because of the large audience that attends each event to decide where they will go, and because of for important operators and professionals from the sector it brings together.
“It’s about finding tourists in neighboring Autonomous Communities like we do this weekend or like we do when we go to INTUR in Castile and León as we promote nearby markets by offering potential visitors a quality seasonally adjusted tourism product like and ours. “, he pointed out.
The Expovacaciones exhibition can be visited this Saturday until 20:00 and tomorrow, Sunday, from 10:30 to 19:00 by purchasing tickets at https://expovacaciones.bilbaoexhibitioncentre.com/.
