The less we travel, the less we repair our cars,” Alexander Gruzdev, director of the Gruzdev-Analyze analytical agency, was quoted by Rossiyskaya Gazeta correspondent.
However, other changes in the automotive market, such as an aging vehicle fleet and the increasing lifespan of personal cars, are countering negative trends, allowing car services to increase profits.
At the end of the semester, revenue per booth increased by 12% and per service station by 13%. The average amount spent by a car owner online (ARPU) increased by 24% year-on-year and amounted to 15,562 rubles.
“Drivers started buying more at service stations – more services and spare parts. The repairs themselves became more complex and more labor-intensive. This is logical: the older the car, the more repairs it requires. The number of standard hours per customer increased by 15%, by 0.
