Casey Cadwallader, who has been Mugler’s creative director since December 2017, first designed the bag for the French brand. The model was presented at the Haute Couture Week in Paris and is already on sale. Hypebae writes about it.
The novelty is called Spiral Curve. Swedish creative Matilda Wenzel participated in its creation, who recently became the designer of the brand’s accessories.
Made of calfskin, it appears crooked. It is embellished with the Mugler logo on the front. The bag is available in three sizes: small, medium and large. The color palette is wide and, in addition to the classic black and white, it includes brown, pastel pink, silver, denim. The new items inlaid with precious stones stand out.
Let’s remember that Mugler returned to the podium in Paris after several seasons of online presentations. The haute couture show took place on January 26. The place was the La Villette complex, or rather the space of La Cité de la Musique. This is a public and commercial company, run by the French Ministry of Culture, uniting several musical institutions at once.
