Actor Channing Tatum spoke in a recent interview about his failed relationship that led him to write a romance novel. After the birth of his daughter and an emotionally charged divorce in 2019, Tatum was forced to withdraw into himself. Hypebae writes about it.
“Maybe it was exactly what I needed. I don’t think I would have ever done this job… In fact, it started with the birth of my daughter,” Tatum shared.
In an effort to overcome difficult experiences, Channing contacted famed feminist writer Roxanne Gay, best known for her essay “The Bad Feminist.” The book’s release date has not yet been announced.
“She has almost an outline of a story that we both love. We just have to find time to work on the story. She’s the busiest, she’s so much bigger than me,” Tatum said.
The trailer for the comedy The Lost City starring Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock was released earlier. The film is scheduled to open in theaters on March 25. We talk about it in more detail here.
