On Friday, August 2, the press secretary of the President of Russia held a briefing for Russian and foreign journalists. The official representative of the Kremlin cited several, in his own words, “sketches” showing how difficult everything was.
“Negotiations were conducted mainly between the FSB and the CIA,” Peskov said. – This was the main line along which an agreement was actually reached.
It is true that the press secretary did not say these words – “on the instructions of the President of Russia” – but still everything was clear.
Perhaps the most curious fact is that the children of illegal intelligence officers Armem and Anna Dultsev (Ludwig Gisch and Maria Mayer) transferred from Slovenia did not even know that they were Russian and had ties to our country until their plane took off from Ankara.
“Children of illegal immigrants asked their parents yesterday who they would meet with them,” the Kremlin official added an interesting detail, as the president himself greeted everyone arriving at Vnukovo. “That is, they did not even know who Putin was. This is how illegal immigrants really work: they make such sacrifices for the sake of their work, for the sake of dedication to their work.”
Also interesting is the following comment from the press secretary:
– You probably saw the children getting off the plane, they don’t speak Russian. In fact, Putin greeted them in Spanish and said “good night.” This, by the way, can be heard on camera, during filming. (We’re talking about video. – AG)
While these illegal immigrants were in prison, they were unable to see their children regularly.
Well, children were shown these quite often, but not as often as we would like. But they did not always have that opportunity and there was a real threat, if they remained there, of being deprived of parental rights.
WHAT ELSE HAS PESKOV TOLD ABOUT?

Well, he spoke mainly about Gershkovich. And then he said: give me these Americans of ours as a gesture of goodwill.
And then Putin replied that there can be no goodwill gestures here, that when our people give up, then we can talk about it. And such a tough position still yielded results, and our people returned to their homeland thanks to that position.
