On the occasion of the Cannes Film Festival, the Swiss jewelry brand Chopard presents a new Red Carpet collection every year, and 2023 is no exception. For the festival, which will take place from May 16 to 27, Caroline Scheufele has created 76 pieces of high jewellery, exactly the same number of years as this year’s review in Cannes.
To create the collection, jewelry innovations were used: new materials such as titanium and unusual types of stone cutting. Caroline Scheufele’s work is based on natural motifs, which remain a source of inspiration for her. This was reflected, for example, in the wings of the butterfly decoration.
Also part of the collection is a ring with a yellow sapphire in the center, supported by a whole group of antique-style sculptures, carved in gold and set with diamonds; dog-shaped necklace made of feathers and diamonds, which was given a slightly curved shape. Plus, an oval-cut Paraiba tourmaline titanium ring, ethical Fairmined 18K white gold and titanium bracelet, and more.
Previously, Chopard announced the launch of a couture line. The first collection created by the company’s president, Caroline Scheufele, will be shown at the Cannes fair.
