The mansion on Volkhonka hosted a Christmas dinner dedicated to the launch of the Bookmate book service for Yandex Plus subscribers. On this occasion, the director Yuri Kvyatkovsky arranged readings, at which the actress Alexandra Ursulyak voiced the story of Nadezhda Teffi “Valya” with the musical accompaniment of the double bassist Vladimir Volkov, Mark Eidelstein – the story of Alexander Kuprin “The Poor Prince” with the accompaniment of the pianist Nikola Melnikov , and Ekaterina Varnava read an excerpt from Ernst Hoffmann’s story “The Nutcracker” with the support of saxophonist Arkady Pikunov. The final excerpt from Charles Dickens’s story “The Christmas Tree” was read at Anton Sevidov’s speech.
The chef of the Selfie and Gvidon restaurants, Anatoly Kazakov, was responsible for the gastronomic part of the evening, presenting a special dessert for Ultima Yandex Food at the end.
