Such a proposal was made by the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Nizhny Novgorod, Sergei Malov, during a discussion with the head of the republic, Oleg Nikolaev, about plans for the development of foreign economic relations in the region.
According to Nikolaev, Chuvashia, as part of its development strategy, intends to master new types of products in demand, which requires cooperation with colleagues from other countries.
– The number of projects and industries that will be closely associated with foreign partners will increase. In this sense, our interaction with the Russian Foreign Ministry is increasing and requires closer and more efficient cooperation to accompany all projects, he said.
As noted in the press service of the head of the region, over the past three years, representatives of 31 states have visited Chuvashia with the intention of establishing cooperation. Against the background of EU and US sanctions, the republic’s authorities intensified work on developing ties with the CIS countries and the Asia-Pacific region.
