“If there is a way to tell more about us, it will be as exhaustive as possible to show the place where we live, our home. Also, we managed to create our dream here and now. With this two-bedroom apartment on the fourth floor of a four-story loft, love happened at first sight. Literally from the door, seeing 5-meter ceilings and a window on the entire wall, where there is a lot of sky and light, we decided that this is a dream, for which we will have to work hard.
SPACE
Alyosha and Aleksey (Alyosha’s husband BURO) settled on interior design almost immediately, “after all, the image of the dream house has been in our heads for a long time: traveling around different countries, always we pay attention to the interiors, details and we discuss what we like, and what we don’t, what would be bought in a hypothetical house. Fortunately for Alyosha and the upcoming renovation, her husband is a designer, so the concept didn’t take much thought. Ruetemple Studio helped finalize the idea. The result is an absolutely airy, light-filled apartment with concrete walls, geometry everywhere, and drowning in plants. An entrance hall with a small pantry, a kitchen-living room (there is also a home theater here) and Alexei’s “office” are on the ground floor. A bedroom with a dressing room, a blooming bathroom and Alyosha’s workshop are on the second floor.

The apartment resembles a large art object that is absolutely suitable for real life. In the center of the ground floor is a large black cube placed within the space, as an ideal balance between imperfect textures (raw concrete, raw brick). The cube plays not only an aesthetic and semantic role, but also the most practical one: it contains a kitchen and an entrance closet, and inside it there is a utility room where things and objects necessary for everyday life are stored.

For a couple, watching a movie is a special ritual, so every evening the hall turns into a cinema, as soon as the screen falls from the ceiling and the surround sound completely immerses you in another reality.

One of those places in the apartment, under which they were not stingy to allocate a sufficient number of square meters. The independent bathroom is immersed in the greenery, there is also a large mirror and a spacious bath with shower. “We treat our green pets with special trepidation and rejoice at the appearance of each new leaf,” adds Alyosha.

The content director’s personal room and the very place of power. Here, according to Alyosha, all fantasies are easily realized and take their form: painting, sculpture, design, or just sewing. “The room is bright, spacious, the view is towards the horizon, and in the warm season I go out on the roof and plant flowers.”

Every person in the fashion industry has an impressive wardrobe, and even more so for the country’s leading social media retailer. “I collect my collection and, at the same time, I consider each purchase.” Alyosha has one passion – shoes (that is why there are several versions of Maison Margiela tabi in the closet at once). And one of the latest purchases: a Thom Browne dachshund bag.

All the furniture in the apartment is locally produced. So, a large sofa in the living room from Ru-sky, the SpaceWood brand was responsible for the table made of solid wood. Shelves in the office, furniture in the bathroom and even the stone bath – behind everything is a Russian brand.

The presence of concrete walls and black color in the interior dilutes the vegetation. Here, as Alyosha notes, the old dream of the couple came true – a tree in the house. After reviewing different options (varieties, prices, stores), we settled on an Avito ad. The accountant was selling a “working” ficus in connection with the office relocation. “So we managed to save the tree and give it a chance to grow to its full potential. Inside, the tree acts as a zoning space: behind it is a study and a library, and in its crown you can hide by climbing into a hammock.

The house is the purest flight of fantasy and dreams, devoid of generally accepted practicality. As interior walls: the air in which the hammock hangs. “Probably the craziest decision, and of this the most beloved. There you can hide comfortably in the top of a tree and read, watch your favorite series without worrying that your tablet or phone will sit on you (they put a socket on top), or just have a sweet dream, drowning in pillows.

“Long before buying a loft, while traveling, we began to acquire different objects in a fantasy house. This is how a discovery happened in Krakow during a tour of Europe by car, and, get acquainted, a sculpture of a girl with an apple by a local artist. Love for unique painting, by the way, is easily explained. Alyosha is herself an artist. Full-blown everyday tales come out from under her pen in that cozy workshop.

An important detail, difficult to capture in a photo, but which is absolutely in line with the current spirit of the times. All processes in the couple’s apartment are fully automated: motion sensors control light, water, security, and an electronic lock pleases with keyless access, which is especially valuable for fans of microbags like Alyosha. .

From the general to the particular, or about everyday details in the interior, which were collected by everyone. The VIPP teapot was brought from Norway, the wall opener from the shop on the side of the iconic Route 66 was found in America, and the vintage black clock came to Moscow from Yakutia, from Alyosha’s grandparents’ house. “But the search is not limited to traveling, for example, in Moscow I managed to find vintage Gallo Acoustics speakers for a cinema and elegant black Bergenson Bjorn chairs,” says Alyosha, immediately adding, “my idea is that you should not put outside the dream for later! Nothing is impossible, and everywhere you can create your ideal corner. It is important that the house envelops you in comfort, resets you and inspires you. For example, I have never been a fan of cooking until the dream kitchen with a large island appeared in my life. And now with great pleasure in my free time I experiment, study and create culinary masterpieces.
