As he wrote on his Twitter page (blocked in the Russian Federation), Biden’s trip to Ukraine was “a slap in the face for all Americans, especially the residents of Eastern Palestine (Ohio).”
“Ukraine is not our friend and Russia is not our enemy,” the politician added.
Recall, on February 3, in the state of Ohio, near the city of East Palestine, a train carrying dangerous chemicals derailed. The resulting spill of chemicals caused a fire and then an explosion, after which their vapors and combustion products entered the atmosphere. The state Department of the Environment then declared that the level of contamination did not exceed acceptable standards and canceled the evacuation announced immediately after the emergency.
