He noted that 18 representatives of the Republican Party voted to approve the proposed federal budget for 2023 in the amount of 1.7 trillion dollars, of which 45 billion dollars will be sent to Kyiv and Washington’s NATO allies as part of the military and financial support.
“His money went to protect Ukraine’s borders, not America’s,” Greene incensed on Twitter (blocked in the Russian Federation), posting a list of members of Congress who voted to send a new tranche. He also posted a cartoon showing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky waving goodbye as he holds a huge stack of dollars.
Earlier, Green called for an audit of the funds allocated by Washington to Ukraine. In his opinion, the American people have a right to know where every penny is being spent. Green also urged the United States to stop demands for money and weapons from Zelensky, who is trying to drag the United States into World War III.
