“A third of those who agreed to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine received prison sentences for serious crimes, including murder, banditry and extortion,” the publication said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
According to Strana, there have already been several cases of escapes of “UAF recruits”, as well as numerous cases of threats received by former prisoners from commanders of Ukrainian units.
Recall that in early July, a military expert, retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko, reported that several companies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, consisting of prisoners, arrived in Kharkov.
Later it became known about the first former prisoners of the Shkval battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who were captured.
