The funeral of humorist Alexander Ponomarenko took place in Novocherkassk. The artist died of cancer, which was diagnosed in the last stage. Before his death, the man suffered a lot from pain, but until the last moment he hoped for healing. The twin brother of the late Valery Ponomarenko does not hide his grief. He not only lost a loved one, but a part of himself. It is impossible to look at a man crying in pain without shuddering.
Alexander Ponomarenko was buried in the Rostov region on December 26. In Novocherkassk, the artist found his last refuge.
The star of “Crooked Mirror” for the last year and a half of his life fought a terrible disease, underwent 16 cycles of chemotherapy and lost 20 kilograms. Before her death, his legs were removed and his body was covered in ulcers. His wife fed him with a spoon.
The artist died of cancer, which was diagnosed in the last stage.

At the same time, Ponomarenko hoped until the last moment that he could be cured. He was not discouraged, he believed in God, he prayed.
The artist was buried in the Church of St. George. The elderly mother of the deceased celebrity could barely stand on her feet and did not hide her teary eyes from her. A year ago, a pensioner lost her husband and is now burying her son, writes KP-Rostov-on-Don.
After the prayer for the dead, the humorist’s twin brother Valery knelt before the coffin. The man tried to hold on and not express his feelings in public. But at the last moment it was incredibly difficult: Valery kissed the hands of the deceased and whispered something. As the man stood up, the audience saw the star’s eyes redden with tears.

The coffin with the artist’s body was taken out of the temple to applause. Alexander was buried in the Alley of Honorary Citizens next to his father.
