The plot tells about the near future. Lera Arabova, 15, lives in Vladivostok. Her father has been working on an orbiting space station for many years and he has long since lost contact with her daughter, becoming just a voice on the phone. After a meteor shower hits the city, Lera only has one chance to save her loved ones and the city from yet another disaster. Her father helps her in this, taking every opportunity for her to convey a message to her daughter, watching her every step from the top of the station.

“Now they are all with me, all under my protection,” Kirkorov said. – We are preparing for the New Year, for Christmas, which we will spend in Moscow. Plans have not changed yet – I am in Moscow and I am not going to leave it.
