On Friday, the Barcelona court of first instance decided to grant the prosecutor’s request and take former Catalan club player Dani Alves into custody pending investigation. The 39-year-old Brazilian is accused of sexual harassment.
According to Marca, the court denied Alves bail.
In December, it became known that one of the visitors to a nightclub in Barcelona went to the police with a statement that Alves put his hands under his underwear without his consent and accused him of sexual harassment. Alves himself denied everything.
