A hundred people gathered in the center of the Italian capital displayed posters with slogans against the current government and NATO. According to the protesters, the United States dragged the Italian people against their will into a confrontation with Moscow, which had serious economic consequences.
Similar actions calling for halting arms supplies to kyiv and lifting sanctions against Russia took place on Saturday in other Italian cities: Genoa, Pisa, Milan, Florence and Lecce.
A large-scale anti-war action was held in Berlin on Saturday. According to organizers, more than 25,000 people took to the streets of the German capital to protest against military aid to kyiv. It should be noted that the demonstration had the support of political movements of the right and left.
Also, a rally in support of Russia was held in the Australian city of Adelaide on Saturday, attended by several hundred people. The Russian and Australian flags were unfurled on the steps of the South Australian State Parliament building. Last Sunday the largest anti-war demonstration in the United States in recent years took place at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington. The protesters called for an end to US military assistance to kyiv, as a result of which civilians are killed, and also claimed that “Russia is not your enemy.”
