The diplomat recalled that on December 20, the president of Transneft, Nikolai Tokarev, said that in 2023 the volume of oil pumped through the southern branch of the Druzhba pipeline to Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic would remain at the level of this year. Galuzin specified that the Ukrainian side contacted the company to discuss the transit.
The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also added that from January 1 of next year the tariffs for pumping oil through the Druzhba pipeline will increase. In November, Transneft confirmed receipt of a notification from Ukrtransnafta in this regard.
Earlier, Transneft received a request for oil supplies through the Druzhba pipeline by 2023 from Poland and Germany. According to the head of the company, requests have been received from Polish consumers to produce 3 million tons for next year and 360 thousand tons for December, and there is a request from Germany for the first quarter.
