On Friday, February 24, the Australian authorities included representatives of federal and regional authorities, including Victoria Abramchenko, on the sanctions list.
“In response to the news about the introduction of sanctions against me by Australia, I will say this: I invite all young residents of this country to participate in the Ecology is Everyone’s Business award,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
As the Deputy Prime Minister pointed out, last year 45,000 works from 33 countries were submitted for the award.
“The award covered Africa, Eurasia, North and South America. Australia, join us! The competition clearly shows how many people are not indifferent to environmental issues,” he said.
The environmental action for children and youth “Ecology is everyone’s business” was established by Rosprirodnadzor on March 31, 2021. The prize is awarded for interesting ideas, initiatives and outstanding projects dedicated to the preservation of the environment, respect for nature, environmental education and the promotion of ecoculture among children and young people from 6 to 17 years of age.
