The young designer Charles de Villemorin, creative director of the Rochas brand, will chair the fashion jury of the Hyères festival in 2023. The 38th Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories will take place in Hyères from October 12 to 15. WWD writes about it.
The jury in the accessories category will be chaired by London jeweler Alan Crocetti, who recently presented a collaboration with Ami. The photography department will be in charge of the winner of the 32nd festival, the photographer and dancer Luis Alberto Rodríguez.
As a reminder, Charles de Villemorin has been appointed as the new creative director of Rochas in 2021. The designer studied at the Parisian school of the High Fashion Syndicate (Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne). He launched his own label in April 2020 and dedicated his debut collection to artist Niki de Saint Phalle.
Let’s remember that before Vilmorin, the Rochas women’s collections were created by Alessandro Del Aqua. He left the brand in December 2019 after six years of work.
