DIA increased losses of 124 million euros in 2022, which represents a decrease of 51.9% compared to a year earlier, taking into account investment impairments in Clarel and Brazil due to imports of 32 million euros and in a marked context due to high inflation, as reported by the company on Thursday.
Likewise, the company has achieved an adjusted gross operating result (Ebitda) of 200 million euros, which is 61.2% more than in 2021.
Net sales, for their part, reached 7,286 million euros, which is 9.6% more, while gross sales stood at 8,900 million euros, 1.5% more. In Spain, net sales increased by 5.4% despite having 155 fewer stores (4.1% less).
Net financial debt increased by 35% during the year, reaching 544 million euros, mainly as a result of the investment effort made during the year.
