Nikolai Filippovich Nizienko was born on June 6, 1947.
He came to the Bolshoi Theater as an intern, then as an intern, since 1977. In 1978 he graduated from the Gnessin Musical and Pedagogical Institute. From 1979 to 2003, she was the soloist of the theater’s opera company.
The artist played about fifty roles, including in the operas “Boris Godunov”, “Prince Igor”, “Sadko”, “Il trovatore”, “Tosca”. He was the first interpreter of the roles of Mendoza (1982, Betrothal in a Convent) and Thibault (1990, Maid of Orleans). For the first time on the Russian stage he sang the role of Ptolemy (1979, “Julius Caesar”).
The artist’s funeral and burial will take place today in the village of Chentsovo, Zaoksky district, Tula region.
