Dior built a replica of the Avenue Montaigne flagship store using the ice sculpture technique. Pop-up is located in the Chinese province of Jinling. WWD reports.
In some parts of China, miniature monuments around the world are traditionally built out of ice in winter and decorated with colored lights for the Chinese New Year celebration. The Dior space will be open until February 28.
In the store you can see iconic items of the brand, such as the Bar jacket, the Lady Dior bag and the Miss Dior perfume bottle, made in the form of ice sculptures. In addition, there will be light shows at the ice boutique every night, and a special fireworks display will be displayed on the first and fifth days of Chinese New Year.
Opposite the ice facility is a coffee shop serving skiers hot chocolate, Dior cookies and cakes. In the pop-up room, everyone can shop for items from the brand’s ski collection.
